We are made up of the following subsidiaries:

M.R.S. Transport Limited is the first company in the group, and was incorporated 23 March 1995, to carry out transportation of products from our depot to all parts of the country.

M.R.S. Oil and Gas Company Limited was incorporated January 1998. A leading independent and licensed petroleum service company, it has attained the status of supplier of choice in the industry through product and service excellence. Unlike most of the independent marketers the company has adequate storage facilities and are not dependent on third party facilities to satisfy its customer’s demand.

The company operates a private jetty, and a modern 14 arm loading gantry with easy access to customers. It is the biggest company in the group in terms of number of staff, and provides logistic, human resource management and other administrative support for the rest of the group.

M.R.S. Shipping Limited was incorporated in 2004. It is an established and recognised shipping agents registered with the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) National Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NAMASA), Directorate of Petroleum Resources (DPR). It also acts as an exclusive broker for the Group, ensuring that the chartering for import/export cargoes are performed according to the highest international standard.

M.R.S. Shipping Limited, through spot or time charter parties permanently handles a shipping assets positioned throughout the world. These vessels are managed in-house to ensure that the Group can guarantee timely supply and lifting for M.R.S. Oil and Gas Co. Ltd. This also allows the Group to create additional value through both fleet optimization and chartering to other companies outside the M.R.S. Group.

M.R.S. Investment Company Limited was incorporated in 19XXX, and is a Real Estate and Project Management Company involved in the sale and purchase of land, building, construction and property development.

Ovlas Trading SA was incorporated in October 2003 as the overseas trading arm of the Group. The company is a dynamic structure which capitalise on lean organisational structures and better flexibility to win market share from their direct competitors. Ovlas brings also a disciplined and strategic approach to trading by emphasizing market analysis and customer relationships.

Ovlas manages the trading and supply activites of MRS Group, and has established itself as a major exporter of Nigerian Naphtha, Fuel Oil, Crude Oil and also as a major importer of Gasoline and Gasoil to the Nigerian market.Since early 2006, Ovlas Trading S.A. operates a 40,000 barrels/day of Nigerian crude oil allocated by the Nigerian government to the government of the Republic of Senegal.
Ovlas operates throughout Africa, Europe and North/South America, procures and supply a broad range of petroleum products. The company is also very active on regulated and non regulated derivative markets. Ovlas has a large prime Suppliers and Customers base mostly made of, State companies, Major Oil Companies and large Trading houses.
